WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO PURSUE MODELING AND WELLNESS?

My mom has always been such an inspiration to me. She’s a total boss and she instilled a strong work ethic in me.

I was a competitive dancer at 5 and fell in love with the art of performing and sharing art. When I got to high school, I switched paths and played volleyball. My mom knew I missed the stage and encouraged me to start modeling. I signed with a local agency, grew my book and eventually was signed with an agency in LA.



WHEN DID FITNESS BECOME A PART OF YOUR BRAND?

Being fit has always been essential either as a dancer or a volleyball player. I wanted to learn how to eat healthy and have it taste good at the same time. Fast fixes don’t work and they compromise your health. I wanted to teach and inspire others on how to have a healthy lifestyle without compromising their health or lifestyle.



WHAT DOES FEMALE EMPOWERMENT MEAN TO YOU & HOW DO YOU THINK THE WOMEN’S MOVEMENT HAS REDEFINED SEXY?

Not taking sh*t from people when you don’t deserve it! When you open yourself up publicly, it can be really powerful & empowering but it can also come with so much criticism and hate.

I think that the movement has taught me that we have to be responsible for what we allow. We are in control of the energy we consume. Now more than ever, women have a voice to stand up and not allow that kind of energy from anyone.

I’m also reading Untamed by Glennon Doyle and everyone needs to read it! It’s all about how we find peace when we stop trying to meet everyone’s expectations and start trusting ourselves. It’s AMAZING!



WHAT FACTS DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT MODELING & RUNNING YOUR OWN BUSINESS?

I’m incredibly grateful that I had my mom to look up to as a business woman. She inspired me to get my degree in finance and I took a lot of entrepreneurial classes to help my business acumen.

I would encourage women to continue educating themselves through podcasts, online courses. It’s so much more than the final post.



TELL OUR SQUAD A LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS? WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER? HOW CAN THEY FIND YOU?

I have two e-books dedicated to helping others with fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness. One is 12 week Bikini Body. It’s a training plan with recipes, gym workouts, alcohol tips, etc. The second one is called Nourish: a 14 Day Wellness Plan and is all about connecting your mind, body, spirit through Gratitude journaling, gluten free/organic eating plus a 14 day plan for readers to jump start their new lifestyle. I also am starting a podcast called The Healthy Hu$tle : the quest to a happier, healthier hustle. I’m really excited about this! The idea is to encourage women to of course work hard but to do it in a sustainable, healthy way and not let “hustle culture” take over your life.

FAVORITE SELF-CARE ROUTINE?
I try to do what is intuitive for my body at that time so if If I’m sad – I’ll take a walk to allow the negative ions to recharge me. I also use a lot of oils : peppermint/eucalyptus in the morning, lavender when I’m feeling anxious
